The Skylon Tower is located on Murray Street at Buchanan Avenue in the City of Niagara Falls overlooking Queen Victoria Park and the Falls. At approximately 520 feet, the Skylon Tower is the tallest structure in Niagara. The tower was opened in the autumn of 1964.

Viewing conditions are further enhanced through the use of a special grey glass in the windows to diffuse sunlight and reduce glare. These windows allow for quality photographs to be taken from the inside deck on those occasions when inclement weather defers one from strolling the outside area.
